Thanks for coming to see what the festival is all about. And many thanks to the people who came along to our first ever festival in Jun 2022.

Why are we doing this here?
Because Walsall is crammed full of incredible creative people with experience, ingenuity, skill and tons of enthusiasm. In a world that can seem lacking in passion and colour, wordsmiths of every kind bring illustration. Not just Walsall, either, but the wider Black Country and Staffordshire area. Everywhere you go, you find red hot creativity changing the world for the better. We weave the world around us into spoken and written art forms. From text-based gaming to folk songs, the artistry is no less vibrant and the inspiration no more precious.
